This is what I came up with for a Longbox Case, It has brown Lambswool inside, Thoughts Suggestions? Someone mentioned a flap that goes over the top of call...I am open for any help. Thanks Tim

If it is reasonably snug I think it will work just as it is. Looks great!
Don't know Tim, looks a tad too nice for the woods, so send it to my house for Christmas.....I'll take great care of it! A strap over the handle with snaps would look cool! Like a sheath for a fixed blade knife?
Looks great Tim. My only suggestion is that you may make it just a little deeper or put a flap over the handle. I am really rough on calls and need all the protection I can get.
A spot to put some chalk would be nice as well. Sort of like the knife sheathes with the stone pocket.

maybe a strap across the top with a snap .other than that it is a very fine looking call case.
Looks super nice Tim!! With that lambswool inside I would have to believe a person could stand on their head and not have to worry about the call coming out. I personally think a snap on it would just create a wear point.
I think it looks great! Nice job!
God bless

That's really nice! If it's snug I'd leave it alone :icon_thumright: :icon_thumright:
really nice, a chalk pocket and a strap would be good too. BUT as is it is good to go.
Tim to only thing I would do is make it so it hangs a little lower on the waist line. I believe when you put this on a belt it may ride to high and get in the way where if you lengthen the back strap and belt loop to ride lower it will be more accessible. JMO
THATS A NICE LOOKING HOLSTER , AS BIG AS THAT CALL IS I WOOD ASK FOR A SHOULDER HOLSTER
SO THAT IT WILL HANG TO MY SIDE THEN WHEN I SIT IT'S NOT IN THE WAY :icon_thumright:
Looks great to me.
Bill
looks awesome but my only suggestion is a little deeper so the call is protected more.

Ya know, that's not a bad idea. Kinda like Dirty Harry pulling out his 44 magnum.

Great idea. I crushed one call diving on the ground after seeing a Tom unexpectly. Ticked me off big time.
Good job buddy that is nice.
I don't know Tim. Everytime I ask Jack for feedback he says "yea and you're ugly too". LOL Looks good to me---I wouldn't add anything. :turkey2:
Hi Tim. Those copper rivets are nice and are you using some type of waxed linen/nylon thread for the stitching? I guess one of the downfalls of the longbox is having a ideal way to carry it on you. That's one of the reasons I have'nt fooled with one much to be honest even while knowing that the long box can be deadly. So, I don't have much to offer in advice for carry one. However, just a few thoughts... I know a lot of people are using the chairs while hunting and I wonder if that would be an issue if ithe call was belt mounted. I'm liking a harness type method or something similar for the long box as others have mentioned. Funny thing, because I have recently been pondering the best method for me to carry a long box. I have a harness type vest that has straps that come down vertically from over my shoulders and down the front to my waistline. I'm considering stitching a case similar to yours to my left side strap (I'm right handed). I think this would allow me to sit on the ground/ chair more comfortable with out the case/call digging into me and still be right there handy, same for walking with it. Just not sure if that's going to be possible to mount it that way due to the calls length.I realize the traditional way is to carry it belt mounted but I think it never hurts to think outside the box,so to speak. Good luck. Strutter.
