What are a couple of your wishes for the upcoming season? Ill put this one out there for everyone; pray that we all have a safe season.
1) I wish for better weather this season. Last year here in Ky we had the worst weather I can remember. It seemed like it stormed every other day, and I mean bad storms. If it wasnt stormin then the wind was blowin 30mph. So a good stretch of pretty spring weather is what I wish to come to KY in mid April.
Get dad his first bird! Maybe get the gf her first bird and animal period. If those happen I'll gladly go without a bird for the year.
A nice dry opener would tickle me for sure. Last year I was buried under 5 inches of snow while sitting under a big oak.
My 7yr old to get his first bird
Just to make it through another season
First out of state bird
First archery bird
Bird for my 12 year old cousin that recently beat cancer
For our out-of-state trips to go as planned (whether or not we kill a bird) and to make it home safely.
To help my brother bag his first Osceola.
To be able to call a longbeard or two in for my dad like I do most seasons.
Wish for my daughters to get their First bird. I also wish the price of tungsten would drop ALOT!
1. Good health for everyone here
2. To help my hunting partner get his first turkey
3. Safe season for all with no accidents
:OGani:
1. Call in my son's first gobbler and for him to experience the best turkey hunting has to offer. He harvested his first deer last fall and now is hooked. IMO if he could bag a gobbler he would feel the same about turkey hunting. 2. Enjoy a fun and safe season. 3. Bag a gobbler with my Knight TK 2000 ML.
1. limits in every state we hunt
2. kill a georgia gobbler with my brother by my side
3. help a friend or two learn how to become more proficient in harvesting turkeys.
1. Get my nephew a bird for the youth hunt.
2. A safe and enjoyable season !

:agreed: sad but true!
limit out in each state
get some buddies a bird
I wish for no snow on the opener. Last year was crazy with snow.. :OGturkeyhead:
1. My first wish is to bag my first gobbler this year.
2. That the poachers that have messed up my hunts before will stay away and quit messing me up.
one for the fiance, one for a coworker that has never killed one, one for the boy and four for me. Thats not to much I hope.
Be with my grandson when he gets his first bird
my only wish is, have a beautiful sunrise, hear some birds gobble and if it is to be get my wife her first turkey. the turkey is optional, as just getting to enjoy the woods with my wife is blessing enough.
Number one to be physically able to go and if so to kill one with my flintlock and one with my new custom recurve that should be ready in May. Oh well, that just told me the season will be over in May. In that case hope to kill one with the recurve I hunt with now. I'm hunting public land so it will be a good challenge for me.
Also wish to get a couple of hunts on film this year that are of good quality.
Wish that Im able to help a few people bag their first bird.
1) That work does not throw any unexpected overtime my way during the season.
2) First year hunting turkeys on public ground, so I hope to get far enough away from everyone and have at least one bird that is interested in my calling.
My wish is to stay healthy & tag out here in Va. & any outher states I hunt in. Also to not see any snakes cause I hate em. I wont hesitate to waste a 6.00 Hevi Shot shell on one either.
vaturkey :newmascot:
My wish is to get my limit of four birds this year and hopefully get my wife her first bird.
i wish 4 april 28th to get here
:turkey2:
Get my brother and my nephew their first bird. Nicer weather would be great also.
1. I wish my son puts the lights out on a big tom during this weekend's juvenile hunt.
2. And I hope to work lots of birds this year. (Putting the hammer to them is icing on the cake.)
My wish is to get at least one misty morning full of gobbles this year. You know -- the kind of morning where you're on a field edge well before sunrise and the gobbles seem to come from everywhere as the woods wakes up. Love those!
...well, I guess me and my buddies tagging out would be nice, too.
