:TooFunny: Did they even have cameras back then?
In 1975, on a cool spring morning following a drenching line of thunderstorms in MS, I passed over into the brotherhood of the Spur. I remember the details in vivid clarity as if they occurred this very morning.

I hung the bird up on the back porch and went to a Doobie Brothers concert that evening. There was only one way that this day could have been any better for me, but I didn't see her that evening. ;)
Cheers ;D

You talking bout this one? I was staying with the turkey theme but since you asked. Oh, and heres another one I'm sorta of fond of, it's me and my Mom around 1981. She killed the deer and I killed the hog. We had to hunt something until Spring. Sorry about getting off the turkey theme.

You know it's an old pic when it's a polaroid. This was the first turkeys I ever called in. I killed my first turkey the following weekend.

This was taken in 1988 and I was 8 yrs old. My first turkeys were two jakes in one shot by accident!!! Good ole treebark camo.

I'm on the left. Picture from the 80s. Ohio public land bird. None of our camo matched. I probably have the hat and flannel shirt still in my closet.
WOW! You guys ARE old! :D
This is about the oldest pic I can find. Back in the tall hat days...
I don't have any old turkey pics. This is about the oldest I can find. I think this was the year after MO Break Up came out...mid '90's maybe? I remember this Missouri brute, though. He wouldn't come outta strut, so I "pillow cased" him. The white shot cup bounced off of his head, and for a second, I thought I blew the top of his head off. :D

No, it was there. My buddy just didn't tell me it was hidden behind the other leg. That's my Florida Registry Osceola. 19 lb's, 11 inch beard, twin 1-1/2" spurs. My best Osceola to date.
