this is the one I completely copied and pasted from a member on this forum... hope he doesn't mind me stealing his thunder:

with deer season right around the corner i thought this might help save you guys a few dollars. i made a gallon last year and it works as well if not better than the stuff on the shelf.
1 gallon distilled water
1 bottle peroxide 20 - 28oz
2 tsp green soap
1 cup baking soda
1/2 tsp vanilla extract  (optional)
put in dark container and let it set for 3 days.
leave lid loose while it is working for the 3 days. (builds pressure)

*Note* The "green soap" refers to the scent-away type liquid soaps that we shower with

I mixed up a batch of this home brew last year. This is the best scent killer I have ever used. I had deer running over me last year. GOOD STUFF !!!!    :newmascot:

Stupid question... Is it for body wash or for camo or both?

it was intended to be used as a spray on scent killer. i do not think it will work if it is used to shower with.
but it does work great in the field.

honker22 i do not mind at all.. if it will help others save a few bucks and bag a buck of a lifetime at the same time i'm all for it

To those who have used it, did you use the Vanilla?  If so, would you use it again?

Bump to the top for deer season.
Good luck guys.  I used this last year and it works as well or better than the commercial stuff I've bought.
Scent free spray.
(That's for my search next fall.)

No kidding? That really works? And the peroxide doesn't bleach your clothing? Might have to give it a whirl. Thanks for the hot tip guys! :icon_thumright:
