I would obviously choose gobblerD and stinkpickle, but if they weren't available I would jump at the chance to turkey hunt with Eddie Salter, Preston Pittman, Ronnie "Cuz" Strickland, or Michael Waddell. I may be wrong, but they seem like the kind of guys I would enjoy hunting with. Who are some you may have had a chance to hunt with or would like to hunt with, maybe even not so famous??
Let me go ahead and start with Tiffany.
If she couldn't make it I'd like to spend some time with my back against a tree with Walter Parrot, and of course Tom Kelly.
Catdaddy, but if he's all booked up I will settle for "CUZ" Stricklin..
Michael Waddell. Will Primos, and the K&H guys
The guy from "On your own adventures" as far as folks off the tube. From here on OG - Executioner, LX Turkeyhunter and a number of others.
I had the privelege of hunting with Headcrusher (aka Scott Hook) and would jump at the chance to do it again!
Ronnie Strickland or Bill Jordan

Eddie Salter so I can shove that damn squealing hen down his throat
With Ronnie's permission, and I mean this with the utmost respect, I'd love to tag along with his mom!!
I haven't heard anything much out of Preston Pittman, but he was a humble man when I met him many, many, years ago.
God Bless,

Tiffany and Ted Nugent..

That would tickle her to hear that. All I got to say is if she took you up on it you had better come prepared to hunt hard from sun up to sun down, she can be relentless, especially if she has a turkey or deer thats bugging her.
Which ever has the best land to hunt.
Micheal Waddel, Will Primos, Cuz, and The Drury Brothers.
I hunted with a celebrity once. I would much rather hunt with several people from OG than most celebrities. There are a few that are humble and would probably be fun but I think they are few and far between.
TRKYHTR
I'd like to hunt with Bob Walker from Turkey Thugs. He seems like an old-school type of guy that hunts with some serious common sense.
Jeff Foxworthy
Tiffany, Waddell, Will Primos, Cuz, Harold and David. Did I say Tiffany???

I like the Nuge as well. I saw an episode a long time ago where he was turkey hunting. He took a big piece of sheet metal at first light and shook it to simulate thunder. That's a locator I would not have thought of...........lol
Im gonna go With JAY!!! He's tha man! lol

I'm sure I'd be a lot wiser about turkey hunting by the days end!! :)

I would say Cuz and Fred Bear. It would be a blast to hunt with the Duck Commanders too. How come no one mentioned Rob Keck? :goofball:

He is from Livingston, AL. where my wifes family and my family are from hes a good friend and yes he wears the name true "turkey thug" great guy indeed! He is deadly on turkeys!
Tom Kelly
I have gotten to hunt with 2 people this year and I didnt know how either hunt would go one was a 3 day turkey hunt with Rhett Akins and Tommy Wilcox which was a blast and heck of a good time. The other was a quail hunt with Hank Jr. and Tommy Wilcox and that was a day to remember in a half, got to sit down and talk turkey and duck mess with some calls with Hank Jr. he was a genuine guy the whole hunt! Tommy Wilcox is known for his outdoor show here in Tuscaloosa and playing for the crimson tide under the Bear and hes a great guy and friend of mine who has helped me with our little buisness! To say the least a interesting year!
Who would I like to go hunting with anyone that wants to go! Thats what hunting is about making friends and having a great time in the woods--Lyle
I not impressed with any of the TV folks , I would like to have hunted with Dwain Bland
Kellie Pickler!

There's really no one on TV I'd truthfully have as much fun with as GobblerD. Would love to hunt with him again. Guesswho, Catdaddy, Flintlock would all be good also. There's a bunch on here that I'd rather hunt with than the TV guys. Every year I hunt with 1-2 different guys, and it's a lot of fun to meet the guys you've chatted with over the years.
The two Youtube stars I'd like to hunt with are Hardcore and Flydown!! :you_rock: :you_rock: :you_rock: :you_rock: :you_rock: :you_rock:

I think I would leave them at home as long as I got the GPS point on that Death alley gas line in there videos!! :TooFunny:
I have to go with Demmi More or Cameron Diaz :z-guntootsmiley: :z-winnersmiley:
Just about anyone that I don't feel I should give first shot to. These kids are killing me. ;D
Not a celebrity but to me he is, would be my Grand Father. Next would be Henry E. Davis a friend of my grand fathers family. Plus a few members here on OG. Chief.
The World Famous SCOTT HOOKS!!!
I agree with anyone that lets me shoot.
Damn kids always making me feel guilty.
Tiffany would be a nice change of pace though.
They don't even need to "let" me shoot, they just need to know I'm not passing a shot. I may make an exception for dingy blondes though.
Keith Burgess at Primos and also Mr. Will Primos. Keith is my favorite on the show and overall hunting show personality. Seems to be down to earth and God fearing.
Chris Brackett
BOOOOYAHHHHH Fear No Evil
I would much rather share a tree with any OG members, especially the one that has gone above and beyond to help me this past year.
To pick a TV personality though, David Blanton from Realtree and Brad Farris from Primos. Just have been my favorites for a long time.
only one for me
Ben Rogers Lee :jesus-cross:
I have been blessed to meet and hunt w/some great folks on here! I'd have to stick w/the home crowd, hands down.
Come on April! YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wess
For me, it would be Ray Eye. I've done shows with him in the past, and really admire his style of hunting and his approach to what most consider "uncallable" birds. He's a hoot to be around too.
I'd pick Ray Eye too, if for no other reason than to hear him run a call or two.
I'd like to go with Ray Eye and see if he could call one up with his squealing hen call.

Wrong guy. Ray Eye didn't discover the squeeling hen call. That was done by Eddie Salter. BTW I heard the squeeling hen the other day. I couldn't figure out what was going on until I got in the backyard. My Rhode Island red rooster was whippin the tar out of my gobbler, Buddy, and he was squeeling like a hen.lol

Turkey Hunting is a participation activity not a spectator sport like soccer , football etc... We our selves get to play the game and enjoy it first hand- Me , you , and the guy in the next pine block are the Babe Ruth of turkey hunting -
I reality there is no superstar Micheal Jordan for turkey hunting and one is not needed , no mater how hard some corporate entity try's to convince you that your happiness , validation, or peer approval comes from admiring a fabricated TV persona
I cant speak for the rest of you but I wish there were some more down to earth folks doing shows rather than some cookie cutter guy and girl combo's "with too much makeup on", these combo's all look the same ,there must be a dozen of them all trying to be the next Lee and Tiffany {no disrespect}

That shows how much I know about it. So scratch Ray Eye for me. I think I'd like to go with TRKYHTR now. He knows how to blow a diaphram call and I need to learn how. Plus the chances of seeing a bird die would be pretty good.

I am by no means a celebrity. Never been on TV, have no desire to even film my hunts. I do however put on a lot of seminars, usually on waterfowl hunting, but occasionally turkey. Take the over the top TV personalities out of the discussion, and there are some really great folks out there, and many on the list I've met. I'm sure there are plenty of these folks who are in it for the fame and celebrity status, but there are lots more who put on seminars and talk to folks because they genuinely love the sport of hunting and like to talk to folks about hunting and even maybe teach something they've learned to someone else. A lot of the same reasons folks get on websites like this one.
You are absolutely right, those type of folks are not superstars, and I don't think they want to be, so I see nothing wrong with wanting to share a day afield with them the same way you'd want to share a day afield with your neighbor or anyone from this site.

Good points and well made ,but I am referring to the over the top types like you mentioned -
Chris Parrish :newmascot:
Miranda Lambert ..... :begging: :begging: :begging:
I wanna hunt with that dude that killed that "Merriams-color-phase" Eastern turkey in Alabamy with his bow! ....And then got hisself a big ole ear-tagged wild hawg with a spear! Now that boy is a real celebrity hunter if there ever was one! We all could learn a thing or two from that feller!
....Maybe he will raffle off a hunt for one of us lucky peons....I can only dream of the chance..... :newmascot: :newmascot: :newmascot:
I think Blake Shelton would be a blast to hunt with,if i had to pick.
I like hunting by myself.
