Finishing up this Delrin trumpet today, I have become of fan of them for sure.

Thanks Tony...yes, it has a nice pop/volume/immediacy to it, but plays softly very well too.

For whatever reason, Delrin hasn't received the respect it deserves. All of my trumpet testing was done with Delrin. Delrin just plain works...and Delrin makes a fine looking trumpet.......

Wood is nice, but for a hunting call nothing will beat delrin.

Maybe for a lowly trumpet, but you can put a wingbone in a bucket of water or fall under water in a swamp with one and it will only sound better.  :D

Thanks......I am a wood junky and love the variety of tone/looks it provides, but as a Delrin convert, I now have one in my vest too.
