Fingers crossed

20 Gauge Turkey Guns / Turkey Choke Recommendations
Last post by retrieverman - Today at 07:01:58 PM
I've got a Beretta 686 Onyx 20 ga and am wanting rig it up as another option for turkey hunting.
From searching on here, Indian Creek seems to be popular for 20 ga, but at this point, I'm open to all suggestions.
Do y'all shooting double barrels do different constrictions or both the same?
I've killed a few turkeys but am still a newbie.  I appreciate any help you can pass along.

Quote from: Alabama556 on Today at 08:59:50 AMI think it is cool to have some calls made out of fence post my great uncle and probably his neighbors put in the ground 60 years ago at least

Quote from: lalongbeard75 on May 26, 2024, 09:56:32 AMSo now you're giving away turkeys lol.
Where did I condemn giving away turkey meat? What I condemned is not prioritizing that meat. It shouldn't be an after thought. It shouldn't be a burden or hindrance because, "I've got to get to my next hunt." It's the wasteful mentality of a slob hunter.

Do you hear yourself?

I prioritize the challenge of the hunt hearing them gobble the strategy used to call them to the gun.
There's a couple hundred easier ways to get meat and cheaper.

This is about like the ones complaining about non residents lol. They can't kill a gobbler on the same public land they been hunting for 20 years, some guy drives all night never set foot there kills one in 3 hours. Now this clown is mad at the non resident.

No body cares what your priorities are.
It's too late this season but Ima make you a special project.

Ima kill me some NC gobblers early in 2025 bet the farm copper lol. And Ima give 'em to some toothless hillbilly and I hope you cry yourself to sleep. What public land you got there near Tuckasegee? Never mind I'll find it lol

I don't believe that you will be able to handle the mountains in western, NC beins' that you are a flatlander.

Just sayin'
