I shot the stock choke with some Federal Heavyweight #7's I had left over. I didn't count pellets but it was a nice, even hunting pattern. My wife killed her first ever turkey with it and it fit her well. I haven't ran many shells through it. But it seems like a solid gun and is fun to pack. I like the 22" barrel on it as well.
