Mine was one of these. It's hard plastic, snaps on, and has held securely as long as I've had it: https://hugoindustries.com/products/dust-cover-for-holosun-407c-and-507c-optics

But looks like there are some rubber ones on Amazon too that might be good: https://www.amazon.com/OPD-Protective-Scope-Cover-HoloSun/dp/B09NJKR2DG

Congrats to all....
I'd like to think yall for letting us join the team.
Special shout out to Calloway, I know for a fact he worked very hard to help the team with a very nice 67pt, while maintaining his focus of putting his son first.
Once again congrats to all, it's been a great time.

PS: shameless plug for any help anyone could provide me on a future hunt in  MN.

Quote from: Old Swamper on May 25, 2024, 09:33:00 PMUnfortunately, there are very, very few I have respect for anymore as turkey hunters. We are indeed a dying breed.

I don't agree, went to the NWTF convention this year, first time, people were fantastic. Brought my daughter and wife,  they were surprised how nice the turkey people were, considerate friendly, welcoming. I've been to a lot of sportsman's shows through many seasons of hunting and fishing, turkey folks are the best

Quote from: Sixes on Today at 11:01:43 AMIf you've never hunted where hogs are a true nuisance, then you won't understand that they are destructive creatures.

The utter destruction hogs do and their invasiveness is worse than rats. When I hunted them back in the 80's and early 90's, the grain farmers would pay people to come and kill them. So, they have not been much of a concern around here. It is when they become a game animal and a source of income that they get out of control. I always ate them, I couldn't leave them, but, I knew a lot of people who hunted them to get the bounty only. I thought of it like catching rats in a trap. Catch and toss and no judgement from me.
