I think I'm good to go: 3" mag blends and pure gold

With the opener 3 weeks to the day away I finally got everything dialed in.  I patterned both guns over the course of the last several weeks and dialed them in yesterday.  

After a few other shots this is what the 870 did:  PG 670 and 3" mag blends {202 in the 10" (my tristar looks the same, only with a little more hits in the 10")}

I like to put the dot on the birds head, so when I raise up a couple of inches he is going to get a good bit of shot in the head.  Im guessing the only thing he is going to do is drop!

That is impressive !!  I plan to use mag blends out of my 870 also.  Thanks for the posting.

nice pattern, im gettin between 175-200 in a 10 in circle, in my 21 in. 870 with 3 in. mag blends using a hevi-13 choke

Here is a link to some of the pics of patterns I have gotten.  

The ones on big paper are a little short of 40, but I was more than happy.  My goal with these two guns was 180 average.  I have far exceeded that.  

I have get 200 ish with 6s most of the time
