Post-Corona Ammo: Where will it show up?

Spoke to a guy on the phone at Cabela's, and he said lots of people panic-bought turkey loads once they could no longer find buckshot and slugs for personal defense.

If that's the case, once quarantines are lifted and true personal defense loads re-enter the market, I highly doubt those people will want to shoot turkey loads recreationally. But where will it show up? Most online platforms don't permit ammo sales; most people don't think about sites like this; and classified ads are going the way of the dodo. Is it really just going to sit in a closet forever?
