Done in TN
« on: April 15, 2020, 11:05:09 AM »
Yesterday bird wasn’t quite an upgrade (3/4 spurs) but he read the textbook and got a 100% on the wingbone quiz...  sat down and he was dead in 5 minutes. Also shot a coyote earlier in the morning.

Great job Catman. You had a great Tn season. Sounds like you’re headed back to hunt those Bama birds?

Yes I spent the past 5 days in bama. Found several longbeards, most of them alone, but none that cared a thing to play the game. Got to watch a bunch of turkeys across the property lines too. I came close to killing a couple times. Will be back in a few days. Weird freakin birds

I have heard that about birds in bama. Supposably the hardest birds in the country to hunt. Good luck down there.

Bama birds are easy to hunt. You walk out in the woods and holler "roll tide" really loud. Only place I know of that the birds walk around carrying a beer.
