Ok guys I've recently purchased a Winchester 1300 NWTF edition 12 gauge and was looking for recoil pad replacement options, it is the laminated wood stock, Thanks!

Limbsaver makes a direct replacement. Best medicine for a mule kicker of a gun.

I was looking at those and seems I can only get them for the synthetic stock 1300, was also looking at the grind to fit model.

I have 3 of them. They kick like a mule........ :turkey2:

I had one , and got rid of it, i felt it always had weak ejector in the gun ..always had problems with it , and yes it kicks like mule ...

I put a limbsaver slip on pad on my 1300. I took the original off and it worked perfectly, just had to measure the stock to get the right size.

May be more info than you need but I think the limbsaver pad will work on the laminated stock with little modification. There is a button of sorts on the synthetic stock replacement pad and that is the only thing needing removed to make it fit. There is maybe 1/32" of difference in width at the top of the pad, just ever so slightly bigger on the synthetic pads than the laminated stock pad. I've got both and swapped them around just to see. Bottom line, a grind to fit would get you perfect fit but in a pinch I think you could use the replacement offered for the synthetic.

Good luck with your mule kicker. I've got lots of fond memories using mine.

The "weak ejector" was me on my guns. I shortstroked those pumps more than a few times to hear a deafening click on an attempted follow up shot. This stemmed more from the "speed pump" bolt design which unlocks the lugs with recoil and the slide partially travels reward, enough almost to eject the spent shell. On a gun I never shot except during turkey season it was hard to remember to finish out the slide rearward. Thankfully I never needed many follow up shots.

Thanks for the pics, I believe I will give the 10301 model a try.  I've killed a truckload of turkeys with an old model 37 Winchester single barrel and familiar with mule kickers, I believe that LimbSaver will tame it down a bit.

I use a limb saver slip on for patterning, I take it off for actual hunting. I can feel the recoil when shooting at a turkey.
