I will add the holding of the lid takes very little finger grip.. also you can change the raspy of the call by moving your finger grip from the curve of the lid to the end of the lid .. your roll of the lid at the end is for getting little more back in with heavier rasp. Finger placement on the paddle and manipulating the lid get's your hens out of the box..
