Missouri Gobbler

A couple pretty days helped me collect a pretty gobbler at 12:35pm Friday. I was in MO 5 days, it rained on 4 of those days and I dont mean a drizzle. This area is in major trouble with the flood waters. I was in an area that was far too accessible and these birds had seen a thing or two since the opener. In other words, they had the game figured out. Unfortunately for this ole boy, no one in the area uses a wingbone. After snubbing everything else, he acted stupid once the yelper got started.
As he was receiving a shoulder ride out, we bumped a hen who was busy with this. . . . so we got a quick snap shot and fled the scene.
Thursday while walking up a creek bed, I came upon this horseshoe. . . . I knew that had to mean things were going to turn for the better with the hard headed birds.
And the living arrangements . . . .

It's a Samsung something another. . . . lol . . . . 12.2 mp and 5x zoom is what I remember. I'm just proud it's still functioning with all the rain it had to endure.

May I assume you're not here to inquire about the alcohol or the tobacco?

Congrats on a good bird. I have hunted the Twain for the past 21 years. Was there for the first 2 weeks, and wow did it rain. Tagged out in some very poor hunting conditions. love your camp also.
Don't gobble at me...
