With today's tss loads chokes are no longer the primary factor. I've shot a lot of tss over the past 5 years and the one thing I've learned, is chokes are good for chasing big numbers but anything from a factory full and beyond is going to kill a turkey far beyond the traditional turkey hunting ranges. One of my 870 will throw a 280/10" with 2 oz of #9 and a Remington turkey extra full. That choke measures .687. No it's not the crazy 350 numbers I can get from other setups but I won't miss at 15 yards either and still I maintain my maximum range.
