There are ways to make those triggers nice, but hammer tension is rarely one of them. The internals that touch, slide or pivot need to be polished carefully and then you can look at any other spring but not the hammer spring. Good luck!

Well, Benelli disagrees and the factory hammer spring was the only thing they changed. It had a nice trigger before, stiff after. The way I understand it, the trigger work by the original outfit included some stoning.
I'll post the results of the spring change in my next post.
Not trying to be rude but the spring change made a remarkable difference...
Well, I hope Benelli can prove me wrong on their product! Rarely have I seen it make a significant difference. Thanks for your comment.

I think we may be miscommunicating here.
The hammer spring replacement from Benelli (the factory spring) solved the cycling function. The trigger was stiff upon return though, after the spring was replaced.
The springs from Taran (hammer and trigger) that I replaced made the trigger pull easier. That's all I did was replace the springs.
I don't know enough about it to explain WHY it worked but I know it DID work.
If you have a SBEII or an M2, try it. Trust me, you'll be VERY happy.

Yes sir, sounds like we are! I don't own either of those, but maybe some day...
The important thing is that you've improved another item in your quest for the infamous wild turkey!!!  ;)
