Started out sitting in my car drinking coffee deciding weather i wanted to hunt or just head back to pa.Well i was here and up so I hiked up on the mountain. Got about half way up and hadn't heard anything, so I sat up and made a few calls, had one to my left and two below me on a bench, and they were just hammering. A few soft yelps and some cutting and they were coming. The first one showed up from my left walking out a old skid road when another one showed up and ran the first one off. a couple more soft yelps and he came right to me. Nice bird 23 pounds 10 inch beard left spur 1 inch right spur 7/8 inch Will post up some pics when i get home. Not a good bird to take pics of we were soaked by the time i got back to the car. Even thou i can't hunt with my boykin in the spring I took him along so i had some one to talk to on the road. He sure was excited when i got back to my wife cousin house. Got some good pics of him trying to drag my bird off.
