River Birch for calls

I posted this in a different section before noticing this one and couldn't figure out how to move it to this part of the forum, but i was wondering if anyone has ever used river birch for calls i cut down a couple of big trees and was planning on saving the wood to try my hand at making some pot calls

I don't see why it would not be good. I believe that no 2 turkeys sound alike and that any wood makes a good call (until it doesn't).
