I have been tinkering with making trumpets for a little over a month and after several different tries I have finally gotten something I like the sound of. I had this wood laying around and really liked the look of the grain and decided to try it. The picture doesn't do it justice with all the swirls and curly grain.

thanks everyone, i have only been using a trumpet a month or so but i think it sounds pretty good. i cant figure out how to do a sound file but if i can i may try to post 1. i took a video so i could get a better idea of the sound, it seems like i have more trouble judging a trumpet sound more than any other call i use.
