Nice birds. You don't need an outfitter. You don't need to pay people to have good hunting.Thumbs down on outfitters.

First of all congrats biggun. Beautiful birds and mounts. Memories I'm sure that will last a lifetime. We are blessed with many freedoms in this country. Freedom to choose how we hunt within legal limits is one of those freedoms. Choosing to use an outfitter when you are hundreds of miles from where you hunt and are on a limited time frame is often the best choice and should bear no stigma, it's your time, your money and your choice. We also have freedom of speech, which includes the right to keep our opinions of others actions to ourselves. Some folks should exercise that right more often.

I am confused on this comment. This post has absolutely nothing to do with outfitters. Not sure if you are aware but Hazel Creek (Cally Morris) is a taxidermist, not an outfitter. I have nothing against outfitters, or people who use them, but I didn't use one. I shot my bird on public land and I called him in on my own. The purpose of my post was to show people the turkeys we had mounted at Hazel Creek taxidermy. Why would you try to twist this around to express your views on an unrelated issue? Feel free to start your own thread about your feelings on outfitters.
