#2 in Mississippi
« on: April 09, 2018, 02:12:49 PM »
I got to break in my new 28 gauge 870 this morn on a sharp spurred mini 3 yr old. Dusted him at 44 step and the recoil was so light, I got to see him fold up in the scope.
Not an upgrade...
Had sharp curved 1” spurs, and 9 1/4” beard and weighed 17 lbs.

WOOHOO!

What a great way to break in a good looking gun!

Are you shooting TSS reloads?

Congrats!

God Bless,
David B.

I am handloading  1 5/8oz TSS9's for it right now.  Still some tweaking to do, but still gets the job done.
