Is this an issue? Please help

Here is a pic of a Carlson's Longbeard choke fully seated in the end of my Remington 870 20ga barrel. There is a small gap between end of barrel and choke. Is this normal for this brand of choke? I stuck a wooden dowel in the barrel and couldn't feel a difference between this choke and a normal Remington choke. I also examined both with a flashlight and couldn't see a difference as well. I plan on shooting soon and want to make sure everything is ok.

My Indian Creek chokes are the same way.  The small excess length is to ensure the choke can be fully seated.  No worries.

Thanks gentlemen, I feel better now. I've never seen this with any of the other chokes I have so I was unsure.

I also have a few chokes like that.

That means the choke is fully seated.

They seat on the tail skirt not on the shoulder that is the reason for the gap you see.
