I rented a 4x4 after flying into Spokane, WA to do some elk hunting in the panhandle of Idaho in 2003.  Road on some rough roads, rocks, etc.  Pulled into the gas station to fill up before returning rental and was shocked at how destroyed the tires on this truck were. Chunks of rubber were taken out of the tires and I panicked thinking perhaps I would be liable.  Thankfully I got an 18 year old girl and it was her first week on the job and not sure if she looked for anything besides damage to the body of the vehicle.  If your hunting with an outfitter more than likely you just need to get yourself to camp and your guide will take it from there.

Yup passenger tires on 4X4 doesn't help munch the Ks mud just cakes on and turns an into racing slicks
