I'm a semi retired and a vet. Working now for Cabela's part -time. Wasn't happy with this new policy change even though employee vets did not get discount along with employee discount. I get it. They called it "double dipping ". I had liked reminding vets when selling products to them to make sure they show military ID for extra 5% off. I always go out of my way to thank customers who are vets by shaking there hand for serving. New owners, Bass Pro, are changing things fast. Cleaning house by firing excess managers. Original owners where "family" orientated. New owners want to take a penny and make 2 dimes out of it. That's the difference.....maybe they will pass savings down to customers ? Don't hold your breath....
