if the shim changes where you hit then you are not aiming the gun consistently. It cannot change that when aimed the same way. Regardless of where your head sits on the stock

Correct...so the easiest thing to do is to put an optic on the gun and not worry about the way you mount or hold or alig it.

Yea that would definitely be a lot cheaper fix no doubt but to be honest I've heard so many good things about these optics I'm ready to give them a try.

The best kind.  :-). They mount nice and low. I don't have a pic of just the mount.

Got the Sumtoy mount and FF3 mounted. Gonna sight it in tomorrow. Love the way it looks and will probably be putting one on my Beretta A400 shortly!
