835 IC black diamond vs haymaker

I got out and shot some the other day with the new ic black diamond in .675. Thought I would post my results for anyone who is interested. I ran out of daylight after adjusting poi and only made it out to 30 yards. Again this is with a 12ga 835 with 20" barrel. 3.5" hevi shot mag blends. My previous best with the blackout choke was 178 in a 10" at 30 yards. With the IC it put 304 in a 10" at 30 yards. This was also after 3 other shots, with a quick swab between. Needless to say I'm inpresssed. I'll post up results when I shoot a 40 yarder.

Good Deal Drew!  No PIC on our end but 304 with MB's at 30 is pretty respectable.  As wvhunter said, give the IC some #7's, you won't be sorry.  My .670 PG does the same as his, 300 plus at 40.  That IC should be a killer for you for sure.  You might try some #6 Longbeards as well.

I shoot IC now, it will throw killer patterns with either hevi 6's, 7's, blends, that's why I switched from the PG. If you decide to shoot straight 7's the PG is hard to beat.

I have a pure gold .670 sitting in safe, send me your mailing info and I'll send it to you to try. I ran hevi 3.5 7's with excellent results 280-320 10" circle @ 40. The longbeard xr 6's threw a real nice pattern.

I really appreciate the offer, but after getting this IC dialed in I think it will suit me just fine, and season is just around the corner here in TN. I'm going to put some hevi 6s through it this week as well as magblends at 40 and see what I get. For some reason it's not letting me post pics. It says the format is incorrect even after I convert to a jpg.

One you may wanna try is Kicks Gobblin Thunder in .670" or .680....there's a lot of em out there,and you can usually be gotten relatively cheap.
