Quote from: FL-Boss on February 09, 2018, 03:23:32 PMI completely agree with you. But I also know there are a lot of hunters out there that will always take "bigger and better" if given the chance. If they made a 5in 12GA shell ...they would buy.

You will be talking 400+ pellet counts in a 10in circle at 40 yards. Pretty much ruin your turkey meat if shot in the chest. I just started the process of loading my own and many people have been telling me that #8 2ounce loads may even produce too crazy of a pattern. This is why many people drop down to 20, 28, and 410 gauge shotguns if using TSS. So from what little I know, 3.5in TSS is basically a big waste of money.
Quote from: Dtrkyman on February 12, 2018, 05:12:44 PMOn the pellets in the birds concern, I killed 7 gobblers last year all under 35 yards, I think I found three pellets while cleaning all those birds, I was shooting 9.5 out of a 20 guage. Those 3 pellets are back in the mix and will find there way to another round!
