Info for those hunting Iowa

Hmmm... good thing I didn't connect this fall!

If the Game Warden had checked your ammo in the gun or on your person, they could have issued you a ticket for hunting with the wrong ammo.  If you are carrying a weapon, they consider that hunting.  They don't care if you connect or not.

I've been approached a few times by Iowa DNR agents, and they've never checked my ammo.  They were more concerned about my licenses and tags...and whether or not I found any mushrooms.
