Robert and those guys have been loading for their on use for years and are knowledgeable about what they are doing. I would have no issue ordering from them.

I was going to start loading my own.  Once Apex became available I decided to just buy theirs and use the extra time to spend with my family and scout!  For the small added cost it made sense with my busy life.  Glad they started offering the shells.  Especially with the inconsistency I was getting with the heavyweight 7's from federal.  Do not wanna worry about lot numbers again

I'm interested for the 20, not necessary but most of what I buy isn't needed either. I spend on calls all the time I don't need

I hand load my own TSS 9 in 12 and 20 ga.  After the spring season was over I contacted APEX and purchased several 20 ga loads. I has an issue with the APEX shells chambering. Contacted the Guys at APEX, informed them of the issue I was having. They made it right by replacing the shells.

I can tell you for the guy that does not hand load. APEX will full your TSS void. Their 20 ga TSS9 shot very well from my 20 ga guns w a sumtoy choke.  If you want to shoot TSS and do not load your own, They have you covered.

In the bottom barrel I'm running a factory flush modified choke. At 12 steps the modified choke is shooting a 10"  from a couple steps to 30 yards can let em have it with the modified choke. 180's one 120's in the 10 and 20 with the modified at 30 yards. At 30-35 plus yards switch over to the top barrel turkey choke.

I shot it once at 50 for mis ranging distance testing and it put up 81 in the 10 and 150 in the 20. But a beautiful even pattern. Lost about 100 pellets out of the 10" from 40 to 50 yards. Dead gobbler. Pretty amazing. Can hunt with properly set up .410 with out a handicap to 40 yards with 10 yards of misjudged distance cushion of 10 yards past 40.

Carry a light weight gun. Less recoil. More affordable TSS shells. Can get a box of 5 for $24.99 or a box of 10 for $48.99. There's 366 9.5's in the 27/32oz loads. Completely level a gobbler to 40 yards with a .410 and plenty of cushion distance for misjudging yardage.

Hunted with outfitter in MO last spring. He said hunter using TSS #9 12 ga shot turkey at 40 yds. He said the only thing he noticed was the breast was full of pellets.  Can see where that would happen with smaller shot.

Something with the hunter cause the birds I have killed with the TSS 9s had no more shot in the breast than any other.  Most of the shot goes straight through the breast when it does hit it.
