It is an awesome call no doubt, but I got sucked into watching about 30 minutes of turkey calls on YouTube earlier. I stumbled on one of Paul's own videos explaining the differences between the Cherry Slate and Maple slate. The higher pitched sound on the front end of the maple slate just fits my ear better.
