Del, really enjoyed have you and Jackson come up and hunt with me Sat., gonna do it again soon! Had a great hunt, did everything put pull the trigger...I'll let you tell the hunt story!

I appreciate the invite as always Jim. Missed hunting with ya last year.

I got on a good bird at Jims place. Gobbled his brains out just didnt want to die. Set up within 50 yards of him. He roosted on the side of a road. Hens to left. I set up thinking he would fall right out of the tree into the road. He pitched out to the right into open pines. We battled for a few hours as I was pinned down due to the open pines. Ended up calling in his ladies to 10 feet. Figured they would drag him along. No go. He lives to fight another day, but his days are numbered.

 Sounds like a great hunt.  I hate being pinned down like that,  you're at the mercy of his mood.
