thanks for the replies. it seems to be common deal with no major issues so I'll just keep on shooting'em.

They come out of my sbe2 looking like that. Has anyone left them loaded or forgot to unload them from a sbe2 and have the end where the crimp is flare out???

I leave my gun loaded in my truck when I'm hunting on my lease. If I leave it loaded all week. The two shells in the tube will be mashed and flared out where the crimp is. I think the 3.5's compress the spring so much that it causes the deformation.
