But if you're gonna put the "smack down" on a big ole thunder chicken... what else are ya suppose to call it?

guesswho

I know some will disagree, but I can't stand people trying to sugar coat a kill by calling it a harvest.
If I'm not back in five minutes, wait longer!

I also can't stand when somebody on a deer hunting show says " tonight we are going to hunt at the so and so stand". I dont deer hunt at night. Just sounds tacky and overused.

I'm not a fan either. A bigger pet peeve is when people call a black powder gun a Muzzy. Ugh drives me nuts

This!!!! You harvest crops to get them to the table and you kill animals to get them to the table!
60% of the time it works every time!

One of mine too, "harvesting" is for corn...

When I give seminars I always say I/We "Killed" this gobbler and go into the details from there. I feel no shame in saying I killed an animal, I am putting food on the table and I don't need to hide it from anyone, if it's not their thing or their offended by it they don't need to listen to me... I am not PC, I am real about what it is. I don't give out "participation" trophies...
