Saw this mixed flock this morning on my way to town. They will be long gone from this place by mid April. Any one else seeing anything?
Spring turkey hunting, I love it so.                FREEDOM IS NOT FREE

Have seen a few about. Got two old timers knocking around my backyard from time to time. I don't hunt them tho. Unfortunately most of my well known turkey areas in Wv are now treeless. So I will be venturing into new areas and we will see how it pans out. Have scouted a bit tho and am back onto birds. Md hunting will be the same. Trying some new spots in addition to some old standbys. It's just a matter of sitting back and waiting now. Will guage how the birds are behaving before I put the hammer down and get serious. I like letting the part timers run out of steam before I get real serious.
