anyone else think the safety on these are tight/rough and anyone know how to make them smoother

spaightlabs

They are tight for a reason - so it takes a distinct and intentional effort to disengage.

Don't jack with the safety.  If you think the click of the safety is somehow going to cost you a bird, squeeze the safety button between your thumb and forefinger and you can push it over silently instead of just pushing it from one side.

I never gave much thought to the effort required to manipulate the safety on my SBE or M2 till I got a Vinci, definitely lighter.

noisy box call that seems to sound like a flock of juvenile hens pecking their way through a wheat field

Safety is a safety for a reason...don't mess with it ....

Spitten and drummen

It is tight. I like tight better than loose and sloppy. :funnyturkey:. That being said , it wont cost you a bird if you slowly and deliberately ease it off using your index finger on one side and your thumb on the other
