Im gonna go out on a limb and say the spurs were accidentally measured wrong on this one....... In the top picture at least, you can see the base of the spur and the one inch mark sitting in the middle of the spur. Looks like the base measurement starts at the half inch mark, which would make that a one inch spur. Not sure about the second picture, to me it reads 1 3/4". But again, I can see the leg in the pic that at least gives the illusion that it is not 1 5/8" long.
Not trying to be a debbie downer here, and no offense meant toward anyone, but that is a big difference when scoring.  That would bring it from a 77 score to roughly 69, which is still an awesome bird!

Since is being questioned about the pics from a non team member I had to go back and look at norths pics. If I can't get any better pics, and fir the sake of not starting anything with anyone saying we're cheating then in going to post it like this. Weight, beard ok. One spur, cause we can't see the start of the tape exactly I'm going to call it 1 7/16. Other one same problem, not a clear enough pic. I'm gonna call it 1 1/2. If there's any objections then get back with me. I blew them up, I'm a welder so I can read a tape and that's what I'm calling it. New score 75.525

I had a feeling that was going to happen. They are pretty strick on the rules, and it is in the rules. ( clear pics, beggining and end of tape measure). I can only see the end of the tape measure on all the pics, beard and spur. But I am only looking at it on my phone, not sure what everyone sees.

Still a great bird.

It is not like that moved us into 1st place, but the rules are the rules.
