Hey guys, it's that time of year again. No, not turkey season!! It's time for me to ask all of you to help me to help children with cancer. I'll once again be shaving my head on March 18th along with other firefighters and police officers to help raise money for childhood cancer research.
St. Baldricks raises more money for children's cancer research than anyone but the US government. This will be my 7th year fund raising for them. Here's how you can help. Had a good friend lose a child last summer. I cannot fathom what they went through. One of them was at the hospital every day for over 8 months most of the time both and grandparents. The scariest part was his daughter was in apparently good health untill she started getting mysteriously sick. They set her headstone last month and a week later he had a massive stress heart attack. He is as strong a guy as I have ever met but nothing can wreck a person like that situation. I don't have words for what I feel when I I think about them. He is 31 years old.... I donated and I hope everyone else will too. I have never thanked the good Lord more for the 3 healthy children I have
