I've run into to him a few times over the years.

Never thought of a goose call before; great idea! I had one once gobble at the church bell every hour on the hour. That was handy.

Any loud noise will usually get a gobble. 

I was trying to roost some one eve with an owl hooter and couldn't get a response.  Somebody honked at their cows and one fired off.

Couple years back some tresspassers were on our property blasting rock music on 4 wheelers.  Not a very smart thing to do, but beer was involved.  While I was trying to get a bead on the tresspassers a tom sounded off to the music late at night.  I was waiting on them when they drove out of our property, but let em go as it was just teenagers having a good time.

Only 2 locators I carry is a goose call and a coyote howler, mostly use them up in the morning

I hunt around a couple of lakes in my area and when I do, I make a loon call.  That will get em to fire when nothing else will.  Something bout that two note whistle.....

Pig squeal. Blowing as hard as I can into a pheasant call works too.

If it'll piss of your neighbors it'll work on a gobbler.

I just posted on another topic that I heard one gobble at a deer running through water one morning in Fl.
