Timberland Taxidermy

Just a short example of how birds react to the Timberland Decoy.

So how well do these dekes hold up to weather? I had a buddy who spent $$$$ on some HC Decoys and got destroyed in a few years... What are you seeing for durability?

That all depends on how you care for them. If you get them wet, beat em up, throw em in the truck, etc. they aren't going to last very long. If you consider they are mounted birds, and keep them dry, care for them like a mount they will last a very long time. We have one we use that will see it's 11th season this spring. Hundreds of gobblers have fallen for that decoy, and dozens of them have died. That decoy has been beaten to death by countless gobblers over the years, and withstood one coyote attack. I don't hunt with mine in the rain. That is an inconvenience, but it works so well the rest of the time it's definitely worth it.
