While not a pump gun, I carried my 11-87 some this year. My niece seemed to like it. Didn't kill anything with it since she missed the bird but she said it didn't kick at all with the federal hw7's. If I had to choose a pump gun, I'd be getting the Mossberg 500 or a browning bps. Not that I'm against the Remington. I'm just not a fan of their recent quality control and finding an older used wingmaster isn't exactly easy to do.
