After a lot of shell testing the old Wincherster 3 HV 5 665 Kicks and 870 26" are going to stay as is...tried a lot of shells but still can not get a better overall result and $10 a box...it will flat kill them out to 50 and bottom line is past that Im not going pull trigger.

using a stardot in my 870 now and getting decent numbers with the Win HV 3" 1 3/4 6's.Thinking about trying the kicks or maybe going with the .660 jellyhead to boost the numbers a little.

Hevi-13 #7's seem to do very well in that choke.

Mine gave me 137-149 in a ten inch circle at 40 yards with th3 665 kicks 5 HV WIN 1 3/4oz 3" every shot today shooting off knee onto board...poi and poa are exact....just cant get the xtended range with that choke to do any better....so its lead in that gun for a long time.
