Along with the hunting of Gobblers, you have to love hunting morels at the same time!

Found 30 while out hunting yesterday morning.  Going to stuff these with cream cheese and crab meat and fry in some hot oil.

Those look like some good ones.  I picked 378 this year and my boy got around another 150.  We had all we wanted and give away as many as we ate.

We had some stuffed morels the other day stuffed with crab and cream cheese. They are wonderful. Sometimes them mushrooms have got me into trouble over the years. I would spot some while setting up on a bird and lose concentration.

I have never had morels, but would love to try them. I love mushrooms but if ya were to go eating wild shrooms here in Fl might start shoot'n at gobblers that aint there.

I always see these with turkey posts but I have never seen any in MD.  Do they grow here?

Have not found any morels but I have been scooping up leeks.

Can you find them as far south as South Carolina?
