Which pattern

Which pattern would you rather hunt with. Both are shot with Federal Heavyweight #7 at 40 yards. This is the tight choke barrel of my over under. I have a open barrel for close range but the tight pattern falls apart after 40. I think the choke is to tight and needs to be a little bigger.

Both will certainly kill. I would choose #1. I do not normally like to shoot past 40 yards even with TSS

That first post, the 197, is a lot fuller pattern. I'd hunt that for sure.
