West Augusta

2 gobblers in four days.
This one played the game and made me work for him but the West Augusta Titanium and Macassar ebony striker was too much for him.

That is a huge WV tom!  I'm originally from WV, and used to hunt near Morgantown and Lost River.  Seldom did birds go over 20 pounds, at least in our experience.  Congratulations!

One of my personal current interests is nest predators and how a majority of hunters, where legal bait to the extent of chumming coons.  However once they get the predators concentrated they don't control them.

Congrats. This is why I wish you could buy extra tags in WV. I had a chance to end my season last Thursday but I have waited a whole year for this and didn't want it to be over in 4 days.

Congrats. I've been 3 times so far and yet to hear the first gobble down here in southern wv.
