Decided to go out this morning after having a bird at 10 yards and couldn't seal the deal Friday morning. Got in there early and hit the owl hooter and he fired off up on the Ridge above us. We circled around and got above him on an old logging road about 80 yards from his tree. He gobbled at everything from crows to a dog and trains. After he cut my calling off a few times I laid the call down and picked up my gun. Five minutes after fly down he was standing at 20 yards and I let him have a face full of 5 shot. These Tennessee birds are loving the mad hen 2!!
