This area should have turkeys, right?

I found this area today, but did not see any sign. The field was all grass, so I can understand why I wouldn't see any tracks. This is in the Sumter National Forest, so I don't see why there wouldn't be any turkeys. Just me over-thinking things, as usual.

Old time turkey hunter always told me turkeys don't leave a lot of sign. Just because you don't see it doesn't mean turkeys aren't in the area.
