Ported Vs Non Ported choke recoil?

ported chokes will lessen recoil but it is too little for a shooter to notice

ported barrels on the other hand make a huge difference, my .44mag ruger blackhawk was a beast but i had it magnaported and the recoil and muzzle flip is noticeably reduced
