Listerine definitely contains alcohol but I'm not so sure it harms my mouth calls.  I've used it for years to kill the germs in my calls prior to any new season. I just let them soak a bit, rinse them with fresh water, prop open the reeds and I'm ready to roll.  No big deal, I never had any problems with ruining them.

Don't know, maybe I'm doing it wrong?

just use it straight or diluted

I dilute and store it year round right in the solution in the fridge. In the field I put in a can with a sponge soaked in the mouth wash, it's like popping a mint in the woods that makes turkey music! Lol

Giving them a bath and rinsing them won't do any harm, I store mine in the solution so I don't want it to sit in anything with alcohol over long periods of time.

I use the Crest Pro-Health stuff.  In a pinch, I would use alcohol mouthwash also, but I would make sure to rinse it all off real good after about 20-30 seconds.
Yep. Crest Pro Health, good stuff.
