Quote from: alloutdoors on March 04, 2015, 11:14:29 AMI prefer a boonie hat for turkey hunting and I really like the Ol' Tom boonie which has a built in mask. I have half-masks that I use too, but the built in is faster to deploy. The half mask is faster to stow, but I'd rather be quicker on the front end.

Quote from: jason5.9 on March 04, 2015, 09:33:08 PMI do a boonie cap with a half mask. the boonie has a cord that I can just let it hang down my back and the half mask hangs around my neck, then when stuff starts to get serious I pull the mask up and put the boonie on. I thin a ball cap is too structured and the shape just stands out to me, maybe to a turkey too who knows what those crazy birds are thinking...
Quote from: jordanz7935 on March 05, 2015, 07:37:18 PMIve always been a baseball cap and halfmask kinda guy. Although i used to wear a boonie hat back in my early days of turkey hunting back when i was still just a "Jake".Lol. I think ill invest in another boonie though. Got me thinking if your moving your head with a ball cap a bird is probably more likely to see movement from the brim of the hat than from a boonie which has the brim all the way around. Im probably overthinking this one though. Anybody know where to get a boonie hat in Bottomland?
